The Philippine tarsier (Tarsius syrichta) is one of the world’s smallest primates and lives in the forests of Borneo, Sumatra and the Philippines. They have a 135–275 mm (5.3–10.8 in) tail, a head and body length of 85–160 mm (3.3–6.3 in) and their large forward-pointing eyes have a diameter of 16 mm (0.6 in). Their eyes are so enormous they would be equivalent to grapefruit-sized eyes in a human being!
