The Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society organised prenatal class across 52 locations in the Philippines, on 10 March 2012. The classes took place simultaneously at 10am on ‘Araw ng Buntis’ (Day of Pregnant Mothers). The event was organised to encourage more women to have prenatal checks. The biggest class was at the Cebu International Convention Centre, where 1,896 pregnant women attended.
